I saw a Mustang with these halo tail lights in a Florida parking lot. Personally I think these are a huge improvement over the stock lights.
One of my favorite rear views is the small round brake lights on the Ferrari 458. Obviously the pony car isn’t in that class, but the subtle change looks great.
Update:
I don’t understand why this short meaningless post with a blurry iPhone image has the most unique views by far of any post I’ve written. Like not even close. I guess— “ Mustang blah, blah, blah” ?

I think thy are meant to recreate the GT’s tailights

Alright then

To each their own, but I don’t like how those work on that car at all. The stock lights are great in my eyes.

I like them, would consider for my own if I owned one

No.

It’s all good!

I don’t hate it, but I probably wouldn’t spend my money on it if I owned a Mustang.

Oh.

If you scroll really fast down they look almost the same....

It looks good. It looks really good.
But it doesn’t belong on a Mustang. Tri-bar tail lamps are one of the few recognizable things left to try to convince us that the se cars are Mustangs and not Thunderbirds .

Raxiom says its inspired by the Ford GT, that’s the first thing I thought when I saw those tail lights.

If you ever owned a 64 1/2 you'd appreciate the trip stripes more.

I saw this car at gulf coast town center a couple months back

Literally El puke-o. That poor Mustang...
Funny thing though, I saw this today at a meet in Atlanta and got a pretty good laugh...
Round tail lights don't flow on these cars at all in my opinion. But folks have different tastes, which is what makes car meets interesting.

It’s definitely not clean on the pre-2015 model

No, it’s bad. So is the first one. The OEM lights are just fine.

Imitation Ferrari tail lights are a gateway drug to “ lamb orghini” door kits, underglow, decorative hood pins, non-functional hood scoops, window louvres and detrimental spoilers.
Talk to your kids about the dangers of rice poisoning.

To your update: I saw this post on my recommended reads via mobile Chrome app. I kinda like the Ford GT tail lights on here, but they're positioned oddly. Not super well sorted out yet.

Naw bro the Mustang’s stock taillights are the best thing about it

I can’t say I’m a fan of them. They don’t work with the design of the car at all in my opinion. In and of themselves they look good, but not on the mustang. I have seen some LED headlights for these mustangs (also from raxiom I believe), and they actually look pretty good. They don’t have the tri-bar daytime running lights, but they do look good and I think a lot of people will appreciate having a totally different style. They also cost $800 per pair, which is actually a steal when compared to the $1500 per headlight you have to pay for factory headlights.

No. Just because it's doable doesn't mean it should be done. I hope that crap is easily reversed.

OK, ignoring for a moment that it apes a bunch of other cars that the Mustang clearly is not, these round lights are still a little too large IMO. Scale it down 15-20% and it would be much better methinks.

We used to see these on 300ZXs. They signify that the owner is ignorant of the history of the car and it's design, and are trying to convince people they have a Ferrari. Zero respect.
